This vineyard is very old too. The age varies from 50 to 60 years. The soil is mainly sandy - limy. The marine origin of this soil is evident in the presence of fossils. The soil is ochre coloured. The types of soils enables the production of wines suitable for long ageing (as much as 15 years or more) and favours the development of intense and complex aromas.
1 hectare of the 2.5 hectare plot is cultivated with Barbera, 1 hectare with Freisa and the remainder with Bonarda.
